These will surely bring about nostalgic memories of thin freshly baked piglet mooncakes packed in small elongated coloured baskets – which can still be found in most wet markets. This year, New Majestic takes it up a notch by designing it in a spherical shape. We thought the baked piglets tasted as good as they looked, they had the perfect balance of velvety pandan white lotus paste and savoury yolk encased in well baked skin. If you still prefer the customary look of mooncakes, try the Traditional Baked Red Bean Paste with Melon Seeds.
