The newly refurbished Grand Shanghai has announced an exclusive collaboration with two-Michelin-starred restaurant Canton 8 from Shanghai. Canton 8, which is sometimes referred to as the most affordable Michelin starred restaurant in the world is well acclaimed for serving some of the best dishes in Shanghai that the Cantonese cuisine has to offer.
Diners will be able to experience this mouth-watering collaboration of gastronomical feast from 24-26 December with an eight course menu. The menu will incorporate culinary delights inspired by Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisine.
Masterchef Kan Chit Ming of Canton 8 will help the kitchen of Grand Shanghai as part of this exclusive collaboration. The distinctive dinner menu will be a combined reflection of both the restaurant’s signature cooking style and star creations.
While the Grand Shanghai team are recognised for their distinct talent of using innovative new techniques to tease out authentic Shanghainese flavours, Canton 8 offers one of the best Cantonese cuisines in Shanghai with a prime focus on the original mix of flavours. The three-night special menu curated by the two restaurants, promises an unforgettable gastronomical Michelin-star dining experience to the diners.
A guaranteed feast for the senses, the sumptuous eight-course menu displays a bevy of premium ingredients from around the world.
