Pineapple tarts add a fragrant, buttery and sweet touch during the Chinese New Year celebrations. These flaky little golden balls are perhaps the most popular and beloved CNY goodies that every household must absolutely have. With Pineapple Tart open season, we have scoured the streets and corners to bring you our top nine recommendations of the most flavour lingering, perfect balance of sweet and sour, softest, freshest and wholesome Pineapple Tarts you can bring home and indulge in their perfect taste right now.

1. Sunny Hills
Their “Taste of Sunshine” is self evident in the generous filling of Pineapple jam. These thick rectangular shaped pieces successfully manage to deliver the freshness of Earth Pineapples native to Taiwan. The unique choice of wrapping every individual piece and simplicity of presentation are contrast to the densely textured Pineapple jam which holds a smooth sweet and sour balance.
