The craze and love for everything-Korean will probably never die down ever since their saturation into our culture. To celebrate their successful conquer throughout these years, Marriott Cafe Singapore invites all to their Taste Of Korea buffet specially curated by guest chefs Choi Dae-hwan and Lee Jae-Bin from JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul.
On top of their regular international buffet feast, diners can expect a variety of Korean delicacies.
To start off the feast, enjoy a glorious assortments of Korean salads such as Bok Choy Namul, Shitake Mushroom and Bean Sprout Namul. Then, warm your bellies with soups such as Beef Turnip Soup or Kimchi Stew Dry Pollack Soup to prepare for the spread that comes along. Moving forward to other highlights such as Chicken Ginseng Roll, a newer rendition of the traditional Ginseng Chicken, Pork Belly Bossam where pork belly slices are boiled in various spices and Kimchi Pancake, which is a major favourite among diners.
Even though not as chewy and soft as expected, the handmade rice cake wrapped within a thin slice of Beef Bulgogi does a noticeable job in neutralizing the rich sweetness of the beef’s overnight marinated sauce.
There’s never no space for desserts. 2 desserts – Sweet Red Bean Soup and Yakgwa (Korean pastry) were specially made for Taste Of Korea buffet that runs from now to 31st August 2016.
Lunch Buffet from Mondays to Saturdays is priced at $59++ (adult) and $35++ (child) while on Sundays, it is priced at $75++ (adult) or $98++ (adult) inclusive of free flow sparkling wine, beer and soft drinks and $46++ (child) inclusive of free flow juices and soft drinks. Korean Dinner Buffet from Sundays to Thursdays is priced at $70++ (adult) and $38++ (child) while on Fridays and Saturdays, it is priced at $80++ (adult) and $40++ (child).
