As the saying goes, the most wonderful time of the year is almost here. With its Executive Chef, David Toh, heading the kitchen at Food Capital, be prepared to brace yourself, as you sleigh to a joyous gastronomy at Grand Copthorne Waterfront this Christmas!

From 3rd December 2017 till 1st January 2018, bask and indulge in an assortment of enticing unlimited Christmas delicacies that’s sure to heighten your celebration with your loved ones!

Turkey Emballage with Brioche

Also known as the Golden Pillow, the Brioche Bread is extremely tasty and makes a perfect base for the turkey emballage and sauce. Perfect for this jolly season, this dish is sure you make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Honey Baked Gammon Ham and Honey Baked Ham

What goodness is this? We often think that most hams have a heavier and saltier side, but Food Capital’s Honey Baked Gammon Ham and Honey Baked Ham has the perfect balance. We must say that the Honey Baked Gammon Ham is extremely tasty.

Baked Salmon

Baked Salmon

Almost similar to a pie with its flaky pastry, this dish is baked and wrapped in prawn duxelle and savoy cabbage in puff served with truffle morel cream sauce. Its salmon meat is extremely soft and moist – with its juices retained.

Roast Beef with Mixed Spices

The Roast Sirloin Beef is tender and cooked to medium rare perfection. Plus, the red wine jus completes that finishing touch of the well-flavoured dish.

Oven-Baked Australian Lamb Rack

You might think sous vide is the only way for meat to turn out tender and juicy, but so can oven-baked meats, very much well-portrayed by Executive Chef David Toh and his team. Marbled with fats that melt in the mouth, the medium rare lamb chops are extremely delicate, juicy and tasty – with no signs of gamey flavours.

Desserts

The Rich Christmas Fruit Cake is light, moist and flavoursome, with generous slosh of alcohol – our favourite of the day. Orange Ginger Cake is also fluffy and moist, holding a bit of the refreshing and zesty taste. Fancy a dark chocolatey and rich taste? The Traditional Manjari 64% Chocolate Log Cake is yours to go. Or, get excited with local-inspired Snow White Coconut Pineapple Log Cake that gives you the “hmmm” though as you try to grasp an understanding of its smoky flavour (perhaps due to the mixture of coconut and pineapple together).

May you have a wonderful Christmas as you celebrate your favourite time of the year. Merry Christmas!
