Ho Fook Hei is an eatery and one of the newest ventures owned by Joyden – a local family-owned business that has been known for establishing different brands namely Joyden Seafood, Joyden Treasures, Joyden Hall, and Joyden Canton.
This restaurant features authentic home-styled Cantonese dishes that were made using the old and unique recipes from the generations. Ho Fook Hei is located at Great World City, Singapore. The place was spacious for it has 108 seats that is enough to accommodate more than a hundred customers within a day. It was decorated with artistic illustration about the history on how Ho Fook Hei‘s special Rose Wine Soy Sauce was made.
The highly recommended Rose Wine Soy Sauce chicken can be bought for $19 for half and $35 whole for dine-in and takeout. This particular dish was being prepared meticulously from the chicken picking up to the blending of ingredients which consists of braising liquid mixed with the special soy sauce that goes hand in hand with the Chinese herbs and spices like star anise, cinnamon, and the caramel coating.
