ASTONS has no working online booking in Singapore right now. The “reserve” links on its websites still point to Quandoo, which has shut down, and ASTONS hasn’t set up a replacement. So walk in, or call the outlet to ask about a table. Quick answer: ASTONS is walk-in. Its old Quandoo booking links no longer work because Quandoo closed. Call the outlet if you want to check on a table for a group. ASTONS Specialities outlets open daily 11.30am to 10pm. ASTONS Steak & Salad closes between 3pm and 5pm on weekdays.

Can you book ASTONS?
- No online booking: the “Click Here to Reserve” buttons on ASTONS’s websites go to Quandoo, which has completed its closure. Quandoo’s site now says its platform is no longer available.
- Phone: ASTONS doesn’t publish a phone-booking policy, but each card lists the outlet’s number so you can call and ask, especially for a group.
- Walk-in: outlets are mostly in malls and turn tables quickly. Expect a short queue at weekend dinner.
The three ASTONS formats
- ASTONS Specialities: the main format, with steak, chicken, pork and seafood plates plus sides. Open daily 11.30am to 10pm.
- ASTONS Steak & Salad: City Square Mall, Marina Square, The Centrepoint and Square 2. Weekdays 11.30am to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm, all day on weekends.
- ASTONS Prime: the group’s premium steakhouse at 359 Joo Chiat Road.
ASTONS doesn’t state that it’s halal-certified, and its menu includes pork.

The story of ASTONS
ASTONS began in 2005 as a single coffeeshop stall on East Coast Road, started by Aston Soon to make decent Western food affordable for everyday Singaporeans. Twenty years on, it anchors a restaurant group spanning Western, Chinese and Japanese brands.
- 2005: Aston Soon quit his job and opened the first ASTONS Specialities as a stall in a coffeeshop on East Coast Road.
- 2006: ASTONS moved out of the coffeeshop into its own shopfront a few units down East Coast Road.
- 2016: The Restaurant Association of Singapore named ASTONS its Best Western Restaurant Chain.
- 2022: ASTONS opened its first restaurant in the Philippines, at SM Megamall, with a local operator.
- 2024: The group took its East Treasure Chinese concept to Osaka through a joint venture.
- 2025: ASTONS marked its 20th anniversary with 20 days of 20-cent deals across its brands.
