The story of CUT by Wolfgang Puck

CUT is Austrian-born chef Wolfgang Puck's modern take on the American steakhouse. It began in Beverly Hills in 2006, and its Marina Bay Sands branch, opened in 2010, was the first CUT in Asia, won a star in the first Michelin Guide Singapore in 2016 and holds one in the 2026 guide.

  • 2010: CUT opens at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the first CUT in Asia and Puck's first restaurant in the region.
  • 2016: The first Michelin Guide Singapore awards CUT one star.
  • 2023: To mark more than 13 years at Marina Bay Sands, CUT launches a seafood menu of over 10 dishes that are served only at its Singapore branch.
  • 2026: CUT keeps its one Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Singapore 2026, announced on 4 August 2026.
  • 2026: The brand marks its 20th year with a multi-chef 'World of CUT' dinner at the Beverly Hills original. The Singapore branch is honoured as part of the celebration.
