Dog-Friendly Restaurants in Singapore: 14 Best Spots (2026)

Dog-Friendly Restaurants in Singapore: 14 Best Spots (2026)

Singapore has a growing crop of genuinely dog-welcoming restaurants and cafes, most concentrated around garden estates (Seletar Aerospace Park, Dempsey Hill), riverside strips (Robertson Quay), leafy suburbs (Serangoon Gardens) and beach clubs (Sentosa, East Coast). At nearly all of them dogs are welcome only at outdoor or al fresco seating, and a handful go further with dedicated doggo menus, water bowls or paw-rinse stations. Pet policies change without notice, so this is a confirm-before-you-go guide — call ahead and keep your dog leashed.

Last verified: September 2026. Hours and prices can change — we re-check our guides regularly, but do confirm before a special trip.

Your questions answered

Can dogs sit indoors, or only at outdoor seating?

At almost all of these venues dogs are welcome only at al fresco / outdoor seating. A few are more generous — Tomahawk Contemporary Steakhouse, for example, is noted for allowing pets inside — but indoor access is the exception. Always confirm the current policy when you book, as it can change.

Which places have dog menus or water bowls?

Sun Ray Cafe has a dedicated doggo menu (human-grade, unseasoned meats) and even does pet birthday cakes; The Garden Slug has its 'Awesome Pawsome' dog menu; and Merci Marcel and other cafes put out water bowls. Wildseed and Wheeler's Estate offer open lawns rather than dog menus.

What are the best areas to eat out with a dog in Singapore?

Seletar Aerospace Park (garden estates like The Summerhouse and Wheeler's Estate), Dempsey Hill, Robertson Quay, Serangoon Gardens, Changi, and Sentosa's beaches are the strongholds. Several are not near an MRT, so plan to drive or taxi — Seletar, Dempsey and Changi especially.

Do I need to book, and are there any rules?

Reservations are recommended for the garden estates and beach clubs on weekends. Keep your dog leashed, clean up after it, and note that dogs are usually kept off pool decks and out of kitchens/indoor dining. Beach clubs like Tanjong Beach Club allow leashed dogs on the sand and provide a rinse station.

Are any of these dog-friendly restaurants halal?

Assume not. Most dog-friendly spots here serve pork and/or alcohol and none is halal-certified, so we have marked them 'No'. If you need halal food, verify directly with the venue before visiting rather than relying on this list.
